Thank you for choosing Egoofarms. This Privacy Policy explains how Egoofarms LLC (“we”, “our”, “us”) collects, uses, discloses and safeguards your information when you:

  • visit egoofarms.com and egoofarms.delivry (the “Websites”);
  • use the Egoofarms Driver mobile application (the “Delivery App”);
  • use the Egoofarms Vendor application (the “Vendor App”).

This Policy complies with the Google Play User‑Data Policy, Apple App Store Review Guidelines, the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) and other applicable laws.

1. Information we collect

1.1 Information you provide directly

  • Account details – name, e‑mail, phone number, postal address, password.
  • Order information – items purchased, delivery notes, payment method (last four digits only; full card details are tokenised by our payment processor).
  • Support & communications – messages, chat transcripts, reviews, survey responses.

1.2 Information collected automatically

  • Device & usage data – IP address, browser type, operating system, app version, language, time‑zone, crash logs, cookies and similar technologies.
  • Precise & background location – see dedicated section 2.

2. Location Data (Delivery App & Vendor App)

Types collected. We collect precise geo‑location (GPS, Wi‑Fi and cell information) from your device while the app is in use and in the background.

Purpose of collection. We use location data to:

  • build delivery routes and display real‑time driver progress to customers and merchants;
  • estimate arrival times and optimise navigation;
  • detect fraud and ensure driver and customer safety;
  • generate anonymised analytics to improve service performance.

Sharing. Live location is shared only with:

  • the customer who placed the order;
  • the restaurant/merchant preparing the order;
  • our mapping and analytics partners (e.g. Google Maps Platform, Firebase) strictly to provide maps, routing and aggregated statistics.

We do not sell or rent location data to advertisers.

Background collection. If you give permission, location continues to be gathered even when the app is closed or not in active use so that delivery status remains accurate. You can revoke location access at any time in your device settings; however, core delivery features will not function without it.

3. Cookies & tracking technologies (Website)

We use first‑party cookies to remember items in your cart and your language preferences. We also use analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4) to understand site traffic in aggregate form. You can control cookies in your browser settings.

4. How we use your information

  • Provide, operate and maintain the Website, Delivery App and Vendor App;
  • Process and fulfil orders and payments;
  • Send transactional messages and push notifications (order updates, receipts);
  • Personalise content and offers;
  • Detect, prevent and address fraud or security issues;
  • Comply with legal obligations.

5. Legal bases for processing (EEA/UK users)

We process your data on one or more of the following bases:

  • Contract – to deliver the service you request;
  • Legitimate interests – improve and secure our platform;
  • Consent – sending marketing e‑mails or collecting location in the background (you may withdraw at any time);
  • Legal obligation – accounting, taxation and regulatory requirements.

6. How we share information

  • Service providers – payment processors, cloud hosting, mapping, analytics – bound by confidentiality agreements.
  • Merchants & customers – order and delivery details are shared between the parties involved in a transaction.
  • Legal authorities – when required to comply with applicable law or to protect rights, safety or property.
  • We never sell personal information.

7. Data retention

Account information is stored while your account is active. Raw GPS coordinates are retained for 30 days then aggregated or deleted. Transaction records are kept for the period required by tax law (up to 7 years).

8. Your choices & controls

  • Access / update – log in to your account or contact us to view or amend your information.
  • Delete account – use Settings → Privacy → Delete account in the app or e‑mail privacy@egoofarms.com. Deletion is irreversible and removes personal data within 30 days, except where retention is legally required.
  • Location permissions – manage in your device’s Operating System settings.
  • Marketing opt‑out – click “Unsubscribe” in any marketing e‑mail.
  • CCPA / GDPR requests – California and EEA residents may exercise access, deletion or portability rights by e‑mailing us.

9. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest. Access is limited to trained personnel under role‑based controls. We regularly scan for vulnerabilities and maintain ISO‑27001‑aligned policies.

10. Children’s privacy

The service is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can delete it.

11. International transfers

Your information may be processed outside your country of residence, including in the United States, where data‑protection standards may differ. We rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards for such transfers.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be announced via the apps and by updating the “Effective” date above.
